Puppies first spaw day and future grooming success
At Laura's Paw Spaw, we want to set your puppy up for a lifetime of stress free grooming. We start accepting puppies into the salon as young as 8 weeks old. Once a puppy is 16 weeks, proof of a current rabies vaccine must be provided (tags will not work). The sooner your puppy gets on a regular grooming schedule, the less stressed they will be as they get older. When a puppy comes in for their first spaw day, we want to give them a gentle introduction. We give them a bath, trim their nails, clean their ears. For the fluffier puppies, we will trim around their paws and in front of their eyes. We will not perform all over haircuts on a puppy's first visit (unless a puppy is so matted that shaving is our only humane option). Every puppy is different. Some are brave and outgoing, while others are shy and timid. At Laura's Paw Spaw, we tailor our service to each individual pet to give them the best experience possible.
